Background: I have a Macbook pro 2009, I installed the new OS El Capitan and it won't boot I have tested the HardDrive in another macbook and the OS works like a charm. I have start the computer in -S in order to see where it gets stuck so here is the screenshot in order to you guys help me. Start the utility, select volume not booting and in "maintenance" run "repair permission" and "rebuild cache". Try boot. Hello marco.p Thanks for your advise I've done the repair permission and rebuild cache under KCPM UTILITY. I tried to boot first using my usb external dock hard drive device and I got the attached log.
