Appler
I can't boot from my HDD it just show apple logo and then the cross sign and if I boot with -v it just hang it blackscreen. I have this problem before and I need usb to boot. But after sometimes it's fixed (no idea how). And now after updating to 10.11.4 I got it again. I can only boot in safe mode now. Dwarfy
Try Stehor's config: http://cloud1.zoolz.co.uk/s-dHYCncdo You can also join the chat to get some help, if you want to. We don't bite. You also need latest clover with 10.11.4 Especially for that config, as APIC patch is not needed anymore. Afaik. Dwarfy
Skylake AppleAPIC patch not needed in 10.11.4? According to Stehor, it is not needed if you have latest Clover and 10.11.4. Maybe that applies to any version of El Capitan if you have the latest clover....? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311553-skylake-boot-problem/#findComment-2227298 Share on other sites

Afaik Now I can't even boot with safe mode (is it because I wipe out the HDD EFI partition? but I'm using usb to boot though) and I also try to install the latest clover from safe mode but it failed. I'll try that config once i'll get home Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311553-skylake-boot-problem/#findComment-2227310 Share on other sites
