Hello,

I've brought Atheros AR5B95 lately and I tried to configure the wifi to work

but with no hope!

Ive installed many kexts and with no luck !

so far I got the Card to be shown but when I hit Turn on Wi-Fi

nothing happens!

tried to remove the card , the configure for the wifi disappeared

Guides shown on the internet shows that the wifi will work after installing the required kexts only

any help?!

Hi,

SLE = / Sytem/ Library /Extensions ?

I used Ikext to install the fix

Yes, System/Library/ Extensions

you have to rebuild the cache, then...

Or, you can use this to install, does everything automatically
You must, also, have set, CrsActiveConfig 0x3 (clover) or 103 (enoch / Chameleon)

Personally, I use clover, and I keep my kext in EFI folder

Strange...

I use the kext and works ...
However, you first have to change the config
Restart, then install the kext.

Try to put it in EFI/Clover/kext/10.11
Check in config.plist, System  paramenters, having inject kext = Yes

Restart and rechecked

Again, it doesn't work :\

Maybe it's the motherboard ? The keyboard wifi led is red, witch on windows turn off WIFI.

I tired to press the wifi key (f12) normaly and with fn+f12 but this opens the cd player

Here is the wifi card : (clic on image)

@Islam94 I just installed the kext files, IO80211Family.kext and toledaARPT.kext but don't worry, it is powering on but found nothing... so i think it's say it's On but it's still off

@Gengik : I'm trying with the original El Capitain from the app store but uni bea st  stuck at Installing Bootloader :\

If you want the Atheros AR5B95 to work (nearly) OOB, a simple DSDT patch suffices! The ToledaARPT kext is now obsolete afaik.

Me thinks it's much better than any add-on kext. Now I say this, I say nothing...

Hi Hervé, I agree on the patch to dsdt.
A newbie can know how to do this? ^_^
I think every person should grow their knowledge ... one step at a time
ToledaARPT, although outdated as you say, but  still works ...

This is the reason for my choice ... :P
