Hi !

I try to install El Capitan from usb HDD on ASUS N61VG and I have 2 problems : 

- Keyboard and pad are not detect (i use externals kb and mouse so it's not the principal problem, but if you have a solution !)

- I have a message which tells me osx is already install ( internal hard disk is detect and parted) ...

J'essaie d'installer El Capitan depuis un disque externe USB sur un ASUS N61VG et j'ai 2 problèmes:

- Mon clavier et mon pad ne sont pas détectés (J'utilise une sourie et un clavier externe donc ce n'est pas mon soucis principal, mais si vous avez une solution !)

- Au moment de l'installation, un message me dit que OSX est déja installé (disque dur interne détecté et partitionné)

Basically, two USB ports should work after installing El capitan,..search / find the active ports, these are my recent experience..

 

try first via USB Drivers, use rehabman USB Inject driver kext.


 

As an alternative to enable all USB Ports via DSDT patch, follow these instructions and advices:

Thanks spakk for your reply, but i CAN'T install it !! At the beginning of the installation i have this message "osx is already install" !

USB port are ok, i have plug my external usb keyboard and mouse (Internal pointer and keyboard don't work)

another alternative, only if there are no possibilities to patching the DSDT etc ... then install the USB-Fix for El Capitan. these are selected system drivers that you need to install in S / L / E  etc, see my short description on the page.

 

Edit:

But before you taking this step, I would recommend that you upload here your raw dsdt, then someone can patch your dsdt so that your system will boot properly. ^_^
