bartik226
So, i found apple tv 1 gen and want to boot it with mac os). There are such themes in the internet but they are old, no up-to-dated and with bad links (looked in google). About the hardware: pentium m 1.0ghz geforce go 7300 ram-256mb. So i downloaded installed .dmg of mac os leopard 10.5.8, mount it on apple tv's hard drive, put boot.efi, use voodoo kernel. I have read in one theme, that i need to delete Ati, Ge, NVD kext's. And i tried to boot with these kext's and without... System boot only before apple logo and activity indicator. Boot flags that were used -f и -x и -s и -v и cpus=1 и arch=i386, nothing helps. In verbose mode there is no kernel_panic. Outputs from verbose: localhost /usr/sbin/ocspd[79]: starting localhost mDNSResponder[25]:Couldn't read user-specified Computer Name; using default “nembers&lettors.local” instead localhost mDNSResponder[25]: Couldn't read user-specified local hostname; using default“nembers&lettors.locall” instead localhost mDNSResponder[25]:Couldn't read user-specified Computer Name; using default “nembers&lettors.local” instead localhost mDNSResponder[25]: Couldn't read user-specified local hostname; using default“nembers&lettors.local” instead Tried to find in google, but no helpful answer (it seems that it is something that helps make to share folders local), so i decide just to remove it (but it's not the right way!). Now situation looks like this: localhost /usr/sbin/ocspd[61]: starting. (number in brackets sometimes changes the same as in mDNSResponder) no answer was wound, but i understand that it's something that starts before desktop launches (don't know exactly) and ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out. these two strings shows together but sometime in other order. I have read that it connects with gpu (event when it's written cpu in the middle of the string), but i know that go 7300 does not work with standart kext's, tried to fix using different ways but no happy results, and nothing changes. Tried to drop in extensions titan.kext, nvinject.kext and others, nothing happens. So please if you know something or have some suggestions write here. Spend for it more then week. Also there is nothing up-to-dated in the internet so it may help other people. Sry for my english it may be to so good.. JahStories
Everything about this, it's a bit old and it seems that most of the links are dead. But this tutorial you linked needs just iAktos and seems pretty easy, whats your problem with that step 6? p.s. I know thats a fun project, but with 256mb of ram the OS is gonna be mostly unusable...
