Hi,

I have been trying to enable HDMI Audio with my Gigabyte UD4 X99 build with Nvidia Geforce GTX960 and so far no success..

Is there anyone with an X99 system managed to have better luck with this?..

Have tried and tried to follow and understand Toleda's "Einstein" like guide! (No offence intended), But it has left me chasing my tail...

Many Thanks,

I was going to use VoodooHDA but have heard it's not as good quality as using AppleHDA?.. Folk complaining of static noise etc..

Not for this one VoodooHDA 2,8,8 Everybody is surprise of the quality sound and the power :wink_anim:

Hi thanks for your help

I have it all working including the HDMI audio, but for some reason the Volume control on the VoodooHDA preference app isn't working and I can't move the sliders (mixer controls)?

Is this normal?

Many Thanks

For control HDMI audio, you'll do this via your TV/Monitor, not via OS X.
