I have a dual boot box (XP Pro & OS X86) the CD/DVD drive works fine in XP.. but will not work in OS X. I added a few folders to a new "Burn Folder" and click "Burn" but it comes up and says insert blank disc.. also the drive is locked, cannot manually eject the disc from drive.. Any ideas? McSkywalker
the drive is locked, cannot manually eject the disc from drive.. You can't do that in Mac OS. The OS doesn't let you. Instead, just drag the disk to the trash icon on the dock, or right-click>eject (in case you don't know.) If every attempt to burn a disk in finder fails, just use Roxio Toast. An unburned CD won't appear on the Desktop. To eject it, you need to do it from Disk Utility or hold down F12.
