hv250
Hi, first of all, my system build is: CPU: i5-6600K overclocked to 4.4 GHz Motherboard: MSI Z170 Gaming Pro GPU: AMD R9 390 8GB SSD: Sandisk Z400 (Windows 10) HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1 TB (Linux partition + movies, data etc.) I can get another SSD for OS X if I have to. Would it be possible for me to go ahead and try El Capitan out on my computer? I've looked through the forum but there's a LOT of information to process, so if someone can let me know what the current status is like on similar configurations and where to look for a start guide, it would be very helpful. Thank you! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309487-how-do-i-start-off-with-el-capitan-i5-6600k-msi-z170-amd-r9-390/ Share on other sites
Andres ZeroCross
1. I assume that you used Clover as your bootloader2. Go to this thread i have upload General Setting Clover configuration. You can try using it.3. Try to boot and "tick inject aty"4. Don't forget to boot at "verbose" mode so if you stuck at middle of installation, take a photo and upload here. we need to see your verbose logI hope you understand, sorry for my bad englishNote : many of skylake motherboard need to disable IOAPIC entry at bios. Some board need to flash the bios into latest beta version to unlock this options. Or you can put Patch On The Fly by Pike R.
