ice_pdb
Hello everyone, First of all sorry for my bad English, it's no my native language. I've installed 10.11.0 OSX, and updated to 10.11.1, it works, somehow with some issues. I've used USB installer (USB3 thumb drive) with inject ATI option enabled. UEFI install. My system: Asus Maximus Ranger VII - i7 4790K at 4.6 ghz, 1.201V RAM 4x4GB 2400Mhz GSkill Sniper XFX R9 290X EDFD (double fan) HDD WD 320gb sata 2 First I wasn't able to get to installer screen, and was because I was using a USB2 port that was disabled after bootloader start osx, usb3 back port worked. Second thing was that I didn't get video signal in any of my ports. However it do give video when I plugged DVI port and HDMI port. The active port is the HDMI, when I disconnect DVI (the one that's down) I lose video.Once I had video, install was easy and smooth. Post installation was a bit hard, Clover wasn't booting from HDD, so I had to copy the EFI from the USB and paste in the EFI of the hdd, Now it works. What is rare, is that when the installer was "installing" I left pc alone for a long time and it go deepsleep. I pressed a key and it waked perfectly. Now inside OSX after install I can't get video after reasume... that's one of my problems. And many of my USB ports doesn't work.. I'm reading about it. Now I'm about to research for fixing those issues. I think I'll have to patch DSDT, never done that so I'll have to make lots of tries. I'll post when I make it run better. PS: if anyone have a system similar to mine motherboard and graphics mostly, please feel free to advice me. Thank all for reading! ice_pdb
Thank you reply, system do boot form hdd... Maybe I did express wrong myself? Also I think this topic goes to post installations. Is it normal that r9 290x should have 2 monitors connectein order to get video signal?
