flexrac Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Hello everyone, while i'm not new to the Hack scene, this is my first post on this forum. i was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue i'm having System specs: Dell Vostro 3700 Processor: Core i3 2260 MHz (Arrandale) Processor code: 350M Chipset: Intel HM57 Display: 17.3-inch, 1600x900, widescreen Graphics Chipset: Intel GMA HD Using clover special edition i was able to create my usb installer of El Capitan Install went great the problem i'm having is that the system hangs on first boot after the install was complete, i never get to the welcome screen i checked to see if the bios had a setting for Nvidia dual booting, no dice. i believe this system only has the intel HD video card before installing the OS i followed the guide located Here AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext was removed I've attached an image of the screen when it freezes. I have an OS X desktop, was just trying to install it on my laptop. will try on a diff, more current one. Thanks for all the help!
