Ritte
Using clover, trying to keep everything vanilla. FakeSMC, audio & network kext in EFI/kext. I've uploaded my config-file but removed serial, don't know if you guys usually do that. Anyway, after the apple-logo the screens turns black but they are not shut off. They have HDMI input logo etc. I can VNC to the computer and log in, once logged in the graphics functions as usual. By booting in safe mode, I can log in normally. With that in mind I replaced HD5000.kext but no luck. Seems that I can't upload a plist-file, I've added a .txt. config.plist.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308788-black-login-screen/ Share on other sites

I thought it was sensitive, but the SMBIOS is configurated from clover configuratior and should be complete. I added the string you mentioned: <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>Intel</key> <true/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0D220003</string> </dict> But it didn't help. The screen behaves as it recently was sent to sleep and I can cleary connect via smb/vnc. el_charlie
This issue happens to me since Yosemite. I disabled the automatic login and everything works fine now. Using automatic login makes my hackintosh to boot into a black screen but using google remote desktop I can tell the computer is on and on the finder without problems. IDK why this happens. Cheers! Thanks, I'll try that once I get home. This and the USB3-problem not running at full speed are my only problem with el capitan. And I often let my computer sleep rather than power so I wont lost sleep over this issue if doesn't get solved. It would be nice thought, as everybody want a flawless system. Ritte
Turning of automatic login doesn't help, tried timeout=0 and -1. Edit: I guess you ment automatic login in the OS X? I've always had it off, turned it now and I bypass the log in screen directly in the OS .So this problem is solved for me, by turning on automatic login in OS X.
