gmp
Hi, I had purchased a BCM94360CD card and a PCI-e 1x adaptor (from different sellers) on eBay, thinking that it would work out of the box. However, after plugging it into my Gigabyte H87M-D3H, it isn't working in either Mavericks or Yosemite. After a lot of googling, I now think there are multiple versions of this card and this one isn't supported by Apple. The PCI-e 1x card has a usb cable (which I think should power the bluetooth). In system profiler, BCM20702A0 is shown under the USB tab, and under WiFi I see a bunch of items like CoreWLan, CoreWLanKit etc listed (with some values). But, Wi-FI doesn't show up in System Preferences/Network and there isn't a Bluetooth system preference either. I am using Clover and tried extracting the IO80211Family.kext from the Yosemite installer and copying into EFI/Clover/kexts/10.10 (which didn't work). Is there anything I can do to get this card/combo to work?
