M_//T_//ias
I have so far used FakePCIID kexts and have graphics kexts loaded correctly, along with config.plist editing, but the brightness stays low. And I do not have the brightness slider. Please look at it for me. RehabMan
I have so far used FakePCIID kexts and have graphics kexts loaded correctly, along with config.plist editing, but the brightness stays low. config.plist.zip DSDT.aml.zip SSDT-1.aml.zip And I do not have the brightness slider. Please look at it for me. Providing patched SSDTs is not possible when config.plist/ACPI/SSDT/DropOem=false. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307315-please-help-with-brightness-fix-for-hd4400/#findComment-2155866 Share on other sites
M_//T_//ias
I found that if I insert a PNLF (patch) into the DSDT, the brightness slider shows up and brightness becomes normal after changing resolution to 1280x720 an back to 1366x768 and then the slider works - but not before changing resolution. This is with FakePCIID kext etc. Vanilla kexts. @Allan - yes I'm using it. You just need to DropOem=true (and include all important SSDTs) in order to provide patched SSDTs. There is a guide I wrote if you google for it... 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307315-please-help-with-brightness-fix-for-hd4400/#findComment-2156232 Share on other sites
