I made a new version for Bluetooth USB dongles (brand CSR).

It's based on an older version.

Even USB Bluetooth wake works ;)

Thank you. Would you possibly make this open source?

It is.

It is only an Info.plist

Modify the VendorID and ProductID values to match your USB device.

It's a generic injector.

Oh, thank you. I'm trying right now...

Edit:

There are multiple idVendor and idProduct (one for "Fake Apple CSR Bluetooth Device" and one for "Fake Apple CSR Bluetooth Interface").

Which one should I change?

The ones being at the bottom, not the ones under the IOProvider....

Doesn't seem to work properly on my generic CD-R King brand adapter though. Same hardware IDs as the ones in info.plist, but still no dice. I've read that this can be further worked around by messing with the bluetooth controller kexts, but I'm not that arsed to do so.

Hello,

Thanks for sharing, I have also tried this kext and the GenericCSRBluetooh.kext and the same thing happens to me with my dongle. I have tried with Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave and Catalina but I cannot make it work, with Windows it works. I would greatly appreciate the help provided.
