emohelsing
Hey guys,I'm trying to get Snow Leopard to run on a G3ID-M7 motherboard with an Intel Core Duo. I got around an ACPI driver problem resulting in a kernel panic by setting my bios to use ACPI v3 features. But now I keep running into an error saying "Unable to convert memory map into proper format" when I try to install the OS. It won't boot the GUI of the installation. Tried Chameleon, Retail SL DVD, various bootloaders and distros online. I even tried Leopard and Mavericks. I keep getting the same message.Any ideas? emohelsing
Hi, Found a possible solution here thanks, tried that, it didn't work. but i found the solution in BIOS: 1.Disable EHCI (set it to disabled, it's right down under USB Legacy support) 2.Disable Speedstep its under CPU settings.
