foster
El Capitan is not going to let you modify certian system folders which I found out trying to replace AppleHDA with one that works for my system. Workaround is boot into Yosemite or your Yosemite Installer and do your modifications in Yosemite. if you look at the extended attributes for kexts it is com.apple.rootless Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306635-system-folder-has-extra-protection-in-el-capitan/ Share on other sites

I have Install Capitan and my audio ALC 898 works and my network working to Everrithings good 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306635-system-folder-has-extra-protection-in-el-capitan/#findComment-2144395 Share on other sites

I have Install Capitan and my audio ALC 898 works and my network working to Everrithings good I agreed. My Atheros wireless recognized by El Capitan and I even managed to install Legacy Yukon ethernet kext and El Capitan recognized that as well. I have no problem with Apps store sign in.
