chardido
Hi, I'm trying to install OSX 10.11 on my HP Probook 6470b but i've a problem reaching the installer. I've followed the guide to install Yosemite (obliviously, with OSX 10.11 Beta 1), but it stucks during the verbose mode, and it restarts! I took the kext from my Clover folder, used with Yosemite, but nothing.. What should I do?

Allan
OS X 10.11 have problems with USB3. Try a older version of GenericUSB, or use the native OS X kext.

Allan
Sorry bro, but this USB3 problem happens in Apple's hardware too, we have to wait a solution. But we can try other methods in this time. Do you have DSDT patch for USB3? You try use AppleUSBXHCI?
pokenguyen
Don't use genericusbxhci in this laptop, and use usb 2.0 port instead.

Allan
Just delete GenericUSBXHCI.kext And repair the disk permissions and rebuild the cache.
chardido
Ok! I installed it successfully. Now I can't see it with clover.. clover only shows Yosemite and the 10.11 installation. What should i do? EDIT: In Yosemite, I can open the HDD with El Capitan and it shows the folder "OS X Install Data". There was something wrong with the installation? pokenguyen
It means the install process is not completed yet. Boot to El Capitan installer to complete the second stage (I assume you used createmediainstall tool to create install usb).
