OszilloVonGraf
Hi, I have just successfully installed and configured a Yosemite 10.10.3 system on a GA-EX58-UD5 / F13 / AML File / TonyMacx86 / with Quad Xeon, MSI GeForce 640 and 2 GB RAM. Everything seems to work fine for me, except that the System summary says thaht there is 0 MB VRAM available for the graphic card. I am trying to use this computer as a stable system, so I was wondering if this might cause any problems using certain applications. I think I remember that on leopard or snow leopard there was some sort of plist patch to fix this, and I would like to ask if this still makes sense or if it could be necessary for yosemite to apply such a patch. Anyway, do you have a link or solution? I couldn't find a thread handling this problem. Or I didn't use the right search terms. I am no native english speaker, sorry. Thank you for your help. Allan
VRam size is not a problem. Use Tonymac tools is a problem. Read about Tonymac in my signature.
OszilloVonGraf
Okay, got it. Wasn't aware of alternatives such as ProjectOSX and nawcom. Didn't even notice that TonyMacx86 had commercial issues. Will take my time for a closer look into the alternatives you mentioned. Thank you.
