Mac is up and running just fine with sound and video graphics card enabled.

I was just wondering how to uninstall unneeded kexts.

I used #####...then used the ##### selection....rebooted...

Didn't have network/internet..so I clicked a couple of selections on there and restarted. Ethernet worked...just not sure which one was the correct one.

I know there is a list somewhere on the hard drive re which kext installed, but how do I know which one is which if it was sort of an automatic install on #####.?

Get the Pacifist program it will allow you to open the installer package to let you see what was installed with the selection(s) you made. To find the correct .kext used open the About this Mac then System Report in the Software section in the side bar choose Extensions there it shows you every loaded .kext for the system. Unless they cause problems unneeded .kext can be left on the system as they will never be used by OSX and they take a relatively small amount of space on the disk.

@ nolanjames

Hello!

Your used tools are not supported here. If you have problems with it, plase hand over to where, you have got them from.

With your unknown hardware, it is hard to give you proper support, if you start to use here supported methods and tools.

Have fun.

By the way it is not the badest idea to read the platform rules before posting.
