-Tex-
I made usb installation of Yosemite 10.10.2 with Chameleon bootloader on Virtual machine, replaced kernel and pthread.kext from this post. Booted from usb and installed Mac almost without errors (had kernel panic on restart after successfull installation). But when i tried to perform first boot from HDD via usb i got black screen and then reboot. I tried to boot with flags AtiConfig=Pitcrain AtiPorts=4 PciRoot=1 as recommended for radeon 7850 but no sucsess. When trying to boot with flag GraphicsEnabler=Yes get Memorry allocation error. My specs are: CPU: Phenom II X4 810 MB: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P GPU: ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5-V2 RAM: 6 Gb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/305132-i-cant-perform-first-boot-after-installation/ Share on other sites

-Tex-
I made new usb-installer of yosemite 10.10.2 with tool from this thread, then replace kernel in \System\Llibrary\Kernels and add pthread.kext to \Extra\Extentions folders with this one from this post. Then I made installation without errors, but can't perform first boot as i wrote before. First bootloader read kexts then appears black screen for a 2 sec and then reboot. I think that kernel doesn't start at all as i not see kernel start log with -v flag Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/305132-i-cant-perform-first-boot-after-installation/#findComment-2121778 Share on other sites

It's strange for me that installer starts normaly from usb (it uses the same kernel that have to start mac os x from hdd) and doesn't work from hdd.
