ufulu
Ok heres the thing: My Samsung HD 80GB has three partitions: 1: Windows XP (NFTS) 2: OS X 10.4.7 JaS (HFS+) 3: Data (Fat32) Dual Booting with Arconis OS Selector worked perfect. Since everything works under OS X I decided to wipe my c: drive with Partition magic, deleted the partition and created a HFS+ partition under OS X using Disk utility. Now when I boot I get the error: “Can’t load OS” or something like that. So I have to use the UBCD, F3 and 3 to load Smart bootmanager and manually select my OSX Partition to get the job done. Anybody out there who can give me a hint on how to fix this issue? In dirve Genius my disk show up the following: /dev/disk0s1 -→ which is the “old” windows partition, now an empty HFS+ part. /dev/disk0s2 -→ OS X with Jas Is this the problem that OSX HAS to be on disk0s1? And if yes how do I fix it? Thanks in advance for your great support as usual! cbmkgd
Make the osx partition active: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=22844 Or make a bootable clone to the first partition, if you have enough space there. You'll then have a second osx to make tests on . (to clone here's a blog with a tutorial, but i haven't tested myself) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/30464-yabi-yet-another-boot-issue/#findComment-211090 Share on other sites
