MIBPreacher
I am at my wits end, I have a bootable thumbdrive. I can not press 1 when booting either thru... while the Lenovo splash screen is being displayed. while the laptop is accessing the thumbdrive while I try to install. I do have updated kexts that are not in the clover folder that are from this forum. I have them copied into the extras folder along with the SMBios.plist file. I cannot get the clover to allow me to boot into legacy for the life of me.

MIBPreacher
artur-pt, I see you have a lenovo in your sig, did you have to go through all this to get it working? I have an i5 processor and i am seriously considering dumping it on ebay and buying a MBP. Can you recommend an image or distro that would work for me? MIBPreacher
Ok so i have tried all of the differebt versions and i get stuck at the same spot. The bluetooth module says its started ok then says its missing and then it just sits there. So if i have the video issue, cant i just add the video kext and have it work? mendietinha
remove video kext like artur pointed out, install, configure smbios and ge=yes and reinstall the kexts. the only thing that can make it not to work doing this is if your system has a hm7x chipset. gotta patch dsdt if so. MIBPreacher
Maybe this would help? These pics are from a standard boot install no extra arguments added other than what it inserted automatically -v npci=0x2000 I cant remove the video kext becuase its not there. When i look in the clover folder there is not a video kext in there... And Artur-pt's thread is something im going to keep it deals with post install, i cant get it to install in the first place
