trase2482 Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 I'm attempting a fresh install of Yosemite with chameleon, but am running into an issue my google-fu has been unable to answer. After the initial startup and loading kexts, the screen blinks to switch to the main installer and immediately the computer beeps and reboots to the BIOS splash screen. I've tried booting with safemode on/off, and with both my nVidia video card and the buil-in intel HD graphics (with the nVidia card removed). Asus Aspire TC-605 Intel Core i5 4440 8GB Ram Intel HD 4000 / nVidia 260 GTX Secureboot disabled Harddrive mode AHCI Any help or ideas where to look to go from here would be greatly appreciated, thank you! bigben1 Posted November 26, 2014 Share Posted November 26, 2014 search for detailed bios setting for asus mobo for yosemite os x. how did you make your installer usb?? if you r having problems booting up the installer try and remove Nvidia kexts from boot usb. also try different boot flags . I'm done with I5-4440, ECS H81M-I/HDMI, 4GB RAM, HD 4600 mini HTPC case link mac mini.
