scleone1987
Hi all, this morning my Hackintosh notified me of the new update, 10.10.1. After having downloaded it and rebooted, the computer shuts down after few seconds. So I booted in verbose mode, the attached pic shows what it tells me a second before shutting down. What can be the problem? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302761-could-not-boot-after-upgrading-to-10101/ Share on other sites
Onixs
It could be just a bad kernelcache. Boot -s (single user mode) clear the cache for a start. Assuming that you know the procedure for this or google it. scleone1987
Hi Onixs, first thank for your reply. I googled it and so tried both this two commands in single user mode: sudo rm -r /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches and sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions but no luck, it tells me "Read only file system". How can I fix this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/302761-could-not-boot-after-upgrading-to-10101/#findComment-2087561 Share on other sites
scleone1987
Edit, I tried first "/sbin/fsck -fy" and "/sbin/mount -uw /", then I tried to clear kernel cache. Still no luck...
