The power button will wake, but I used to press power in Snow Leopard for it to go to sleep. Any ideas? Thanks. Correct, it used to work this way for me in Snow Leopard but not in Mavericks. If it doesn't work, use Control+Power. Str4nger Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Here power button doesn't wake the computer when it's in Sleep mode, instead it boots as if electricity had been interrupted.
