Hi people

I have installed Mavericks on a 60GB OCZ-AGILITY3 ATA Device (SATA-III) SSD and the install completes successfully but when I then try to install a bootloader, it doesn't work. It certainly doesn't boot directly to the disk.

When I boot from the USB I created my mavericks installer on I can only run Mavericks in safe mode using the -x. Any other time I get the apple logo with the spinner then it ejects the cd drive then the screen changes to just a white screen.

I could really do with some help here. I have installed Hackintosh comps before with success so although not a noob, i still have a lot to learn.

Also I forgot to say that I was actually only installing to an SSD because its quicker to do than standard hard disk. I eventually want to install a working Mavericks to a 1TB hard disk. I also want to be able to boot in normal mode.

To clarify, I want to be able to run Mavericks in standard mode rather than safe mode. That is the issue...

My system at install is:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H

CPU : QuadCore Intel Core i5-4430, 3000 MHz

8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM

HIS 6970 IceQ Turbo 2GB (ATI/AMD Radeon HD6900 Series)

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB external sound card

Any help greatly welcomed.
