pepar Posted October 3, 2014 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Hello, I try to install Yosemite on my Notebook which is a HP Pavilion dv6. Specs are: Intel Core i7-2670QM @ 2.20 GHz Radeon HD 6770M The problem is that it is booting via Clover with the boot flags: -v -x -s kext-dev-mode=1 cpus=1 I have all required kexts "installed": FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagment and kexts for the display card. After some while a message appears that says that bluetooth can't be enabled but as I saw in videos it is nothing that matters. But then a white circle with a line through appears and all the text gets pixelated. pepar Posted October 3, 2014 Author Share Posted October 3, 2014 Because my Notebook uses a Radeon HD 6770M card, I looked up which kext to use and somewhere was written that this graphics card needs AMD5000Controller.kext and AMDRadeonX3000.kext to work. So I will try to use the orginial ones. But is it automatically loading the original kexts if I remove them from the kext 10.10 folder? Edit: Without these kexts in the kext 10.10 folder it happens the same. Edit 2: Tried both GraphicsEnabler=Yes and GraphicsEnabler=No but both don't make it work.
