Belkin F5D7051

Hi to all

first of all, i want to thank everybody for the hard work and to have allow me to build an Hackintosh fully working.

My problem: is there anybody who have experiece with the usb WiFi adapter Belkin F5D7051 Rev 1000ef?

I saw on the net that it has a broadcom chipset, but it doesn't work.

does it end with an "h" or a "b"

 

I have 2 F5D7051 adapters and the F5D7051h doesnt work but the "b" one does

I saw one indication it might be a Broadcom chip and a couple of others that it might be a Ralink chip.

To be sure, need to get the vendor id and device id. Go into Windows -> Device Manager. Find the wireless device (should be under Network Adapters or USB). Get Properties and click on the Details tab. The vendor id is the 4 characters following the VEN and the device id is the 4 characters following DEV.

Not too sure about the one that you have, but i have the F5D7050B and I know for a fact that it uses the Ralink drivers. you should give them a shot and see what happens.
