emoxam Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Hello guys!i was trying to make imessage work and install clover, now my OS X won't boot.it gives me "boot1: error"what i can do ? i have another machine with OS X in a VMware - i think i can atach my HDD and do something.. but what to do ?P.S. emoxam Posted September 11, 2014 Author Share Posted September 11, 2014 I tried two boot1h So whatnever boot1h i install i see only the BIOS like window. Whatever boot device i select i got "boot failed efi hard driv" blinkong and return to BIOS like window. Clover did a backup but i don't know what to do with this.. can you please help me ? Ravenstein Posted September 12, 2014 Share Posted September 12, 2014 Normally I am not so pateint, but let me try this time... :-) Firstly, I think it is a good manner to post your specs at your signature, so that all people can get a closer image of your problem. ps: this thread is a best practice.. In general, it should be a simple problem. If I were you, I would figure out which HDD & which partiton I installed Mavericks. esp. use Installation USB boot up again into Disk Utility and Terminal, using comannd diskutil to identify the 2 points. change according in the command line of : dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2 where disk0 is the 1st HDD, s2 is 2nd partition where your MAcOSx installed. The ultimative solution is google and read, google and read... esp. which installation guide you follow. Good luck.
