tux2
Hi guys, sorry, i know this question has been put a few times but i couldn't solve my problem yet. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-8SGXP (SIS 648/655) with a Realtek AC97 chip. The tutorial i've found in the wiki-audio is just for nforce3/4 and it doesn't work on my system. What can i do? When i edit the file in "/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext/Contents", there are many entries like "Intel ICH1-6" and the "NVIDIA AC97 Audio". If i add my vender/device id, my sound card appears in "System preferences" but the only sound i get is something like "dadadadadadadadada" Please help me, i don't know what to do! PS: Please excuse my bad english
