noxdg
I can't comment on the DVI out, but QE/CI are working perfectly with my MSI RX1900 XT and the Boris drivers (X1000 driver support on JaS OS X).
xevean
i have ati x1900xt (made by ati) and it works perfectly with the 10.4.7 radeon kexts from 10.4.7 update however the boris patch does not work with it and causes severe video coruption that results in a guranteed system crash in less than 5 mins of gui booting up. both Qe CI work however i dont have a monitor that uses dvi so i cant comment on that. equilibriumuk
I've not seen anyone with a x1900 with DVI working. I have a Connect3D 256mb X1900XT and it works with QE/CI + OpenGL etc. I've not tried DVI tho as my monitor is only VGA. The only cards I've seen with DVI working are the X1600XT's and the intel GMA's.

noxdg
I should add that with my MSI 1900XT, I can not get Quicktime to play .mov clips/movies. Whether they are HD or not. I'm not sure if this is an x1000 or the Boris method driver issue. To note, I also have an Ati 1600Pro with the Boris method and the same problem. Before QE/CI we enabled with the Boris method, Quicktime video was fine...just not assisted by the video card. Now there's nothing but a black screen with lines through it.
