HoneyMustard Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Has anyone tried an upgrade from Mavericks to 10.10 by simply running the installer from OSX? I just did this on my Macbook and it is working great. I would like to try it on my Hackintosh (after making an image copy of my boot drive) to see if it would work and not have to go through all the hassle of setting everything up again. I realize a clean install is always the better option but I'm just curious if anyone else has tried this or if it would even work. Allan Posted July 26, 2014 Share Posted July 26, 2014 Hi, and Welcome. For upgrade your OS X like a real macs, only works with Clover. But i recommend to you, create a clean install. Is very easy.
