lwrig
I just finished installing 10.9.0 using Niresh's distro. Everything works perfectly except i made a very stupid mistake. I decided to use osx86tools to fix the About this Mac window which ended up corrupting it. After i broke it i found out that the tool is from 2008... Now when i click on it it won't open at all. I've seen a few other posts about this problem but none of the fixes work for mavericks. Any help is appreciated. My Specs: CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4Ghz RAM: 4GB ddr2 MOBO: Asus m3a79-t Deluxe GPU: EVGA GTX 650 1 TB Hard Drive Also, I was wondering if it was possible to do a retail install on this hardware because niresh kind of sucks. Edit: After doing some research, it looks like it is possible for a retail install using a modified kernel. Im going to try that and if it doesn't work out, I've always got my time machine backup Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299710-i-broke-my-about-this-mac-help/ Share on other sites
