david_osx
Hi I installed dp3 using this great guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298753-boot-usb-os-x-yosemite-chameleon/ my mobo sabertooth x79 bios 3608 cpu 3930k 3.2 ghz.. used piker ssdtPRGen.sh -c 1 -w 3 -turbo 3800 to generate my ssdt and renamed it to SSDT.aml put in extra. even checked for (APLF, 0x04) and not 01. not sure what AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext should i use because the native dp3 kext make the cpu use so much more watts and overheat... no pm either so i guess the system is not so fast as i would love it to be.. could anyone help me find the right kext or patch to make pm work in os x 10.10 dp3... thanks guys. boot.plist http://i57.tinypic.com/34qv89c.png pm http://i62.tinypic.com/10o3f5c.png Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299609-sabertooth-x79-os-x-1010-dp3-pm-not-working/ Share on other sites
jamiethemorris
Your boot.plist should say DropSSDT, not SSDT. Fix that and it should work. stinga11
For Power Management you need patch the AICPM with these patch: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295200-testers-needed-cpu-power-management-for-sb-and-ib-xeons-or-i7-39xx-on-x79-or-c60x-chipset/page-27?do=findComment&comment=2024745 And you need edit the Mac-F60DEB81FF30ACF6.plist with StepContextDict of the macmini6,2. Otherwise, you do not have a Power Management Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299609-sabertooth-x79-os-x-1010-dp3-pm-not-working/#findComment-2042075 Share on other sites
