Dazzystar
Thanks for your patience my friend. I have downloaded and installed HWMonitor but I cannot find any file called FakeSMC on the HDD. I start Chameleon wizard and select under the CPU section' Generate P and C states and I then save this org.chameleon.Boot.plist file in a folder called Extras. When I click on the SMbios tab in the wizard it same SMBios.plist not found. I don't know what to do now. I also cannot see what you mean about fakesmc option. Allan
FakeSMC, are in S/L/E. In menu SMBios click in "Edit" and select the right for your machine, after this, click in "Save As.." and add your SMbios to boot.plist: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299332-having-an-install-issueadvice-needed-please/page/2/#findComment-2038730 Share on other sites

Dazzystar
Perhaps I have not explained myself well. I have a fully working OSX installation. The only thing that I want to change is so it boots up from the HDD and I don't have to insert the USB stick, boot from that, then have to select Boot OSX from HDD. Dazzystar
Thanks Allan but when I try to upload it it says I am not permitted to upload this type of file. it's okay. I've changed the name and have attached it Allan. Oh. One thing you should know. The OSX system clock is one hour ahead of the correct time so if the log say 21:30 it means 20:30. system.log.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299332-having-an-install-issueadvice-needed-please/page/2/#findComment-2039103 Share on other sites
Allan
For you not have error like this, compress the file before upload.
