RCOO Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 So I've been using Clover with Yosemite and it's working perfect. However, if I use my laptop LCD the resolution for the bootloader and boot animation is optimal (1366x768). If I connect my external monitor (FHD) via HDMI I get a stretched out version of the bootloader and boot animation (1024x768, I think). I have the patchVBios option checked, so this should work. nyolc8 Posted June 27, 2014 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Tried it, caused blank screen with "too big" text by the display itself. I think it mean the resolution is too much. But I patched the bios to 1920x1080 and my displays optimal resolution is 1920x1080. So I don't get what is the problem... I achieved the same effect with chameleon and "resolution" module. Display said "too big".
