  1. ATI to nVidia Graphic Problems

@Malgkas Thank you very much for your info bro, i'm really preoccupied with uni work and haven't had the chance to pour any time into my hackintoshing activities lately.. I'll try using a different SMBIOS and report any progress here. Maybe that's the problem culprit.. Thanks again to you and all of the people that took time to look into my problem.
  2. ATI to nVidia Graphic Problems

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try uninstalling web drivers and try again. Also, should I delete the DSDT injection?
  3. ATI to nVidia Graphic Problems

I have enabled use nvidia web drivers in clover, aside from the deprecated nvidia_drv=1. Also, from settingsm should I have use web drivers or the integrated mac os drivers?
  4. ATI to nVidia Graphic Problems

So u say it should be working by having "nvidia_drv=1" in my clover plist? Also, if I upgrade to Mac Os Sierra it should work?
  5. ATI to nVidia Graphic Problems

Hi mate. I'm sorry, I forgot to provide info. I'm using an iMac12.2 SMBIOS and 10.11.6.
  6. ATI to nVidia Graphic Problems

Hello guys. As the title states, I used to have an ATI Radeon HD 6770 and now I got an nVidia GT 740. I used to inject my graphics through my DSDT (just faked the address to a 5770 which is natively supported and some cosmetic stuff) and by a patched framebuffer. Now what I've done is installed nVidia web drivers, inject the new card by dsdt and use "nvidia_drv=1" in clover. The thing is that I can't boot if I don't use "nv_disable=1". Also when I boot, I have no graphics acceleration. From what I find on from online research is that my new graphics card is natively supported, and that really {censored} me up. I completely run out of ideas.
  7. I think that its a uuid problem. Maybe something is not correctly set up and you acquire a new uuid everytime you reboot.
  8. try to install in a small partition setting CsrActiveConfig=0x67 with OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi.
  9. I had similar problems when initially using OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi and then switched to OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that you probably have to reinstall but the good news is that after you install while using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi you will have no problems in the future. The reason why this is happening, if I understand the situation correctly, is that there is a slight difference in these 2 .efi files that have to do with the way they read and allocate disk sectors. So basically you can boot your system because the way they understand your disk's structure is not completely different nor exactly the same.
  10. Toshicba laptop i3 330m - No

Just to be sure, what should i inject through clover if i've used the patcher utility? I'm injecting my card through dsdt and clover with fakeid.

Sadly it,must be a hardware issue. The story goes like this: I drop the laptop down and the screen broke, along with some unimportant plastic. Now, I don't have any problem gluing the plastic together or replacing any cable in there. I've ordered a new screen, a new lvds connector cable, because I wasn't sure that the screen was the only broken thing. Turns out,I need a new motherboard. My original thought was to use it as an entry type mac mini, without a built in screen. Probably, the hypothetical built-in display works great. Of that I'm sure now. will try to reassembly it back together so I can close the lid and see if the vga gets QE..
  12. Hello guys. I have a toshiba satellite c650-17v laptop that has an i3 330m (an aftermarket addition, since it came with P6000 which is similar to the first gen i3 but underclocked and with less features.) I have successfully installed El Capitan v 10.11.3 on it. I've used giorfrida's patch utility to patch my AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext but I can't seem to get fully to work. VendorID is 8086 and DeviceID is 0046. Because the screen is broken I've connected an external tv screen and I only got CI, not QE.
  13. Clover hates Cinema Display

The fact that this is mere just the answer... It is more than that. It is the Truth. U need a proper framebuffer. I remember creating a post for ATI Radeon HD 6770 here on insanelymac forums but I can't find it.You need to create a framebuffer for your graphics card. Edit: Found the topic. Start from the start.
  14. Yeah, that's the plugin I was talking about. Happy to hear you fixed it.
  15. Have you installed csm plugin for clover? Edit: I can't find it in your bootlog so apparently u may have to install it. And I think I'm pretty sure that's your problem
