adithyaxx
The Problem: I installed Yosemite Developer Preview 1 using the USB Installer + Clover made with MacPwn. (More info below) This is the guide I used. Flag used while installing: -v kext-dev-mode=1 I was able to install successfully, however I have to reboot after the initial step to finish the installation which is where the problem lies. I used the same clover from the USB with the same flags, however it shows "root device uuid is ..." and then crashes. Here is the image. I also cannot use my current clover bootloader to initiate the installation, so I used the clover from MacPwn. Which still didn't work but after using the files from here to replace some of the files, I was able to fix the instant reboot problem. My current settings: Clover Bootloader Build r2721 Triple Boot: Windows 8.1, OS X Mavericks, Ubuntu NOTE: I re-partitioned some drives to make way for a 4th partition to install Yosemite. My Computer Processor: Haswell Quad Core i7-4700MQ So how do I go about fixing this problem? artur_pt
hello have u enable this in clover ? http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/KernelAndKextPatches#KernelPm u are injecting the kext from Clover/kexts/10.10 ? use minimal kext to run .. fakesmc .. voodoo .. and nullcpu (if u use it) if u inject the kext in cache .. u don't need the flag kext-dev-mode=1 good hack Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298938-cannot-reboot-after-initial-installation/#findComment-2032062 Share on other sites
