ta3d Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Hello, im trying to install Niresh Mavericks to my laptop with specs of : Model Acer Aspire 5741G Intel Core i5 430M 2.26 GHz ATI Radeon HD 5470M 512MB 4GB Ram Current OS: WIndows 8.1 i have done everything and tried chameleon v2.2 and v1.x, i could see my usb is bootable but once i select the Mac OSx installer this happens, -if without boot flags, the apple logo shows for 1 second and laptop reboots -if with flags (i tried many of them) but mainly -v it shows this and then apple logo for 1 sec and laptop reboots... i have done the AHCI settings in the BIOS i tried to burn the dmg on a macbook and on a my laptop(windows 8.1) *i have already installed mountain lion on the same laptop and same usb 6 months ago *i also tried iAtkos ML but same problem as now I hope every one help me Thanks alot in advance for all your help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298836-problem-installer-reboots-after-choosing-the-usb-please-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
YungRaj Posted June 16, 2014 Share Posted June 16, 2014 On a Haswell Machine, you need to patch the Kernel for Locked MSR's due to PM being in the kernel.
