Well, here is the thing: I have a sucessful Lion installation on my machine (used to have a Snow Leopard) without problems, and for some reason I'm not able to do the same thing with Mavericks(same problem with Mountain Lion). A instant reboot problem happens everytime I try to get to the installation screen (tried Distros, myHack and no luck at all,  always the same problem). Funny thing is that even trying to install a VM of Mavericks it hangs on the Apple Logo and stays there. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this problem? I'll leave my pc specs below if it helps.

-Motherboard: ECS G41T-M7

-Memory: 2x 4GB Kingsont DDR3

-Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 9600GT(planning to pick up a GT 660 this month)

-Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400

Thanks in advance!:]

Well, the first two pics are the outcomes on Mountain Lion and Mavericks, respectively( -x -v dart=0 ) . The last one was a what appeared after I tried lots of boot argument combinations. Everything I try to do still results in this weird reboot problem....

Maybe try the amd kernel for now? Instant reboots are usually kernel related, but I have a Q6600 and the vanilla kernel works fine...

Just try it temporarily...

remember to add the flag (ex. amd_kernel)

Tried AMD kernel(N1resh distro) and myHack without luck(again). I don't have a single clue of what could be causing this... Could it be a motherboard problem? It would be weird since my Lion install works with everything (Video, Audio, Network etc)...

EDIT: If it helps, the reboot always happens after a quick "Args..." line appears on the screen.
