I had to use ps2 (both keyboard and mouse) while installing. I kept connected my USB-stuff, wasnt a problem.

After installing, when OSX was booted, I installed USB-drivers from http://developer.apple.com/hardwaredrivers...d/usbdebug.html and rebooted, USB worked from then on. I still have my ps2-stuff connected as well, no problems.

I've had this before too. Like the others mentioned, try using a PS2 keyboard. It's strange, but I've found (with my countless installs) that there are times where the USB just doesn't kick in. But the majority of times there wasn't a problem.

A couple times even after the install my USB keyboard would not function. But at that point, a simple unplug/replug fixes it.

well i finally got it installing, with a ps/2 mouse and keyboard.at the very end of the installation,it asked to reboot, but ended up freezing the system. :2cents: had to pull the power plug out to reboot.finally when it restarted,it said error. :D i dont understand

what was the error?

right before you clicked the install button did you click the customize button to the left of it. Chosse the packages necessary for your processor/system.

if your not sure post the specs and someone might be able to help you out with the necessary choices.

hi,no i just clicked install everything.the install seemed to install fine,up until it asked to reboot at the very end.thats where it got stuck at.couldnt click or use the keyboard.after that i pulled the cord, and rebooted it.the first thing that came up was a screen saying "0 error" or just "error" from what i remember.anyone else have that problem?

a screen saying "0 error" or just "error"

Could it have said "b0 error"?

If so, that means you need to set your OSX partition active (bootable). Use a Windows or Linux disk or partition utility or use Fdisk built into OSX: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=22844
