ergot
hi all , my hack is working fine and i did a copy to a faster drive, this drive is a SAS drive connected to an LSI controller. when trying to boot from the drive it failed...BIOS can see the drive/ OSX can see the drive. Is there any flag i need to put in boot plist? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298405-how-to-boot-from-a-single-sas-drive/ Share on other sites
aphex6b
what LSI controller, what bootloader do u use? Perhaps a kext is needed and it's not cached somehow? only flag i know might be useful is boot-uuid=xxxx perhaps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298405-how-to-boot-from-a-single-sas-drive/#findComment-2024404 Share on other sites
