trav1085
I noticed that the Macbook Pros on Apple Canada are $3000 (17") and I can't spend that much, so I'm wondering where I can find the best cheapest canadian new/used/refurbished 17" 2.16ghz macbook pros. This will be my first Mac and I don't want to get a 1.83Ghz 15" as it's not the same. I can't pay upfront, so I need a site that has monthly payment like Dell does. mrks
Since you need to have a monthly installment plan, the cheapest would be buying a refurb from apple.ca. A refurb is the same as a new machine, it's just a legal matter why Apple can't sell them as new. You still get the 1 year Apple warranty. I suggest buying the Applecare plan to extent the warranty to 3 years, if something breaks after the warranty period you'll be paying an arm and a leg for the part. Just the 2.16ghz logicboard would cost around $900cdn, without labour and taxes.
