I am looking for a graphic-card and a Core 2 Duo MOTHERBOARD with integrated LAN and SOUND that will work without ANY patching. Is there one? The graphic-card shall be HIGH-highended for lite $500. equilibriumuk Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 I just built a new system with a e6400 and clocked it P5W DH Connect3D X1900XT 256mb Seems to run OSX pretty fast, with Opengl etc supported, no mouse tearing or corruption at all. I'm not sure if the intel mobo's have sound that doesn't need patching, but it was easy to get mine working. You can also get cheap USB soundcards that support OSX. Hey there, How fast is your x1900xt? I have a 1800GTO right now, have you running any game? QuakeIV? Doom3? Call of duty2? HaloUnibin? Can you post some benchmarks? I like to ugrade to one of those things but I dont know how well supported it is.
