Firstly I'd like to say this is a great forum, I've seen a lot of help given to lots of people (y)

Now I'd like to ask if it is possible to install a Mac OS X to my desktop pc (yes it's my first hackintosh build) and which one would be best for my build

As far as I can tell I have a;

Fujitsu-Siemens D2581-A5 PC

This has an intel 2 core processor

Q33 Chipset family

And a wireless card that says something about installing on mac with a disk (so no problems with internet)

Thanks in advanced to any help.

You could go as far as Mac OS X Lion....you could use a distro for the work or if u can buy a retail disk go with the retail methods available in the guide section..

If u have virtualbox and ur motherboard supports virtualization technology that try installing the distro or retail on the virtualbox first and then install it on ur system...

How will I go about finding the video card name? And would you say OS X 10.5.x is descent? Also which distros can work straight off burned to a disk (or 2) sorry for the nooby questions I just want to get all bases covered before I do the work

U can run 10.7 (-.-) and lion distro i dont think it exists...u could install 10.6 using numerous distro's out here...try it.. :) or check youtube for installing Snow Leopard on core 2 duo processor and u might get some help...with installing snow leopard...after u have snow leopard u can uprade it using retail methods..
