dudenesspa
I just purchased xfx R9 280x. Got it to work by using integrated graphics as primary. It shows up as HD7xxx in profiler. When I open After Effects, I only get option to use HD4000. I've removed the supported cards.txt as well. Any thoughts? Any chance Apple will support this card one day? blacksheep
Same here on a Mac Pro with flashed 280X. Seems more like Adobe, not Apple thing. CS6 and CC, 10.8.5 and 10.9.3. Card isn't even on a supported cards list for Windows version - see Adobe website. All other CS/CC programs work OK, only PR and AE don't. Resolved my issue. In my case it was CUDA driver 5.5.47 - it caused AE crash and PR hang. After updating it to 6.0 all is back to normal.
