nyolc8
If I boot with kernel cache, then my display turns off when the desktop should appear (after boot display) If I boot with -f (so kernel cache loaded) then display works perfectly. I tried to recreate kernel cache many times but same happens everytime. Any idea why is this happening? alexanderq
I think you have to edit your cards ati framebufer because with -f it does not load fully (QE,CI,acceleration) look here. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/249642-editing-custom-personalities-for-ati-radeon-hd45xxx/ http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/277042-amd-radeon-hd-6650m-graphics-enabler-dsdt-hdmi-audio-acer-aspire-7750g-2674g50mnkk-gradients-fixed/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/297083-asus-hd6850-works-without-problem-but-only-with-f/#findComment-2007949 Share on other sites
nyolc8
It does load with -f, I get duckweed frame buffer, everything works nicely. I restarted many times now and it's now working with kernel cache. But sometimes not. It looks like it's happening totally random Any idea? Same happening with the 10.9.2 installer. nyolc8
Now it worked 6-7 times in-a-row with kernelcache. If it got fixed somehow, I don't get it why, or how...
