Hi,

installed the the system with myhack 3.3.1 and the latest Appstore Maverick Update (10.9.2).

Also needed to patch the kernel like described here and booted the installer with only one monitor connected (miniDP)

Hardware:

ASrock B85M-Pro4

Intel Core i5 4570

XFX Radeon HD7970

16GB DDR3 Ram

What works:

Audio (ALC892) - using the patched AppleHDA Method

Network (I217v) - using the latest AppleIntelE1000e.kext

Sleep - works oob (atleast with the patched kernel)

Intel SpeedStep - works oob (atleast with the patched kernel)

USB 2.0 - works oob

USB 3.0 - works oob

WIP:

Intel IGP Graphics:

Not tested!

AMD - Graphics:

Booting with GraphicsEnabler=No --> "AMD Radeon HD 7xxx 3072 MB" in System Profile

- Multimonitor works (atleast miniDP + 2. DVI Port), 1. DVI didnt work,  havent tried HDMI/VGA.

- Steam Games work fine (Portal, Limbo, SuperMeatBy)

Booting with GraphicsEnabler=Yes --> Full Device Name in System Profile

- No Multimintor support with the ports i could try

- Steam Games wont start

This works for me atm... HDMI would be nice in the future tho...

------------------------------------

My /Extra Folder looks like this:

/Extra/Extension:

- AppleIntelE1000e.kext

- FakeSMC.kext

- lspcidrv.kext

- Patched_10.7_AppleRTC.kext

org.chameleon.Boot.plist

/Extra/RemovedExtensions...

-------------------------------------

I havent created/patched a DSDT.aml yet, everything seems to work oob without it.

My chameleon boot.plist (GE=No, KernelCache=Yes, PCIRoot=0)

Thanks!

I feel a bit stupid right now :)

after messing arround with the kext so much i did a fresh installation, while backing up my kexts for the components i remembered the problems i had with the dual monitor config back when i had my old hackintosh (HD6850).

Now it hit me, i had an HDMI cable connected all the time...

so i did a fresh installation only with my main monitor connected through an miniDP - DVI Adapter. i put the myhack installer back in its original state (AMD kexts back in /S/L/E) and what do you know... installer booted fine with full resolution.

After the installation i replaced the kernel and rebooted... (GraphicsEnabler=Yes) and got a KP right away. Tried it with No and the system started up fine with Graphics working as well (HD 7xxx in System Profile). After getting the other components to work i tried to boot another time with GE=Yes and what do you know, this time it did start up fine. System Profile now shows the whole Name: AMD Radeon HD 7970 X-Edition 3072 MB

The System seems to run perfectly right now, only sleep is missing (Display off works, but HDD/CPU/Fans stay on).

PS: Speedstep also worked fine without the ssdt.aml...

EDIT:

Updated first post with current status.

Well i dont know what i did wrong on my first installation.

Sleep now also works oob, maybe its related to the now working gpu?

just made breakfast and when i came back to the system, power led blinks and all fans off. pressed anykey on the keyboard and the system wake up fine.

This System kind of becomes the perfect hackintosh the more i play arround with it... i cant believe that so many stuff works oob...

only thing missing right now is multimonitor support....

UPDATE:

Got multimonitor working with GE=No, see first post for more details

Updated osx86project.org 10.9.2 HCL with my Components:
