Uwe303
Hi, i sucessfully installed 10.9 on my i7-2600k, ASUS P8P67 Evo and AMD Radeon HD 7850. I used Chameleon Wizard to install the bootloader. But after the update i accidentaly also installed the "Andys Boot Package" which installed a bootloader (dont remember which one). But now i couldnt boot anymore. Every boot iso i used didnt worked and some of them gave me a graphical error screen. Some of them just restart. I dont know what is the problem. Anyways: I want to rescue my data from the HD, but in Windows i cannot access it with programs for HFS. What can i do to rescue them?
carbo178
Hi, You need to boot from pendrive installer and choose the installed system
Laberlohe
Hello Uwe! Did you install with myHack? In this case use the myHack usb key to your system. Else: install Chameleon to any usb key... If both method will fail, you'll be able to rescue your data using a linux live cd/dvd (e.g. Linux Mint) Good luck!
jpenguin
Yes, linux has read-only hfs+ support, but you should be able to use your MyHack/Pandora USB
Gringo Vermelho
This is why it's wise to keep a bootable installer around, either on a flash drive or a hard drive partition.
Durreau
use this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/64-bootdisk-utility/, make a usb pen in windows and boot in, and choose the osx partition... I had a similar problem when I used SuperDuper! and this save me from having to reformat and start from scratch again ...
