Toucanet
Hi. I have had a working Hackintosh with Mavericks, but now after I have removed an AHCI INJECTOR kext, my Hackintosh doesn't start and it reports me the error "still waiting for root device". I have done a backup of the .kext file on the desktop and I can solve the problem by coping the file from the desktop to system library extensions and repair the permissions. But how can I copy the file? I have some bootable CDs, even an IATKOS L4, but if I try to copy the file with cp - R it reports me "s/l/e reading only file system". (I had a system password on my Hackintosh). Please help me!!! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294791-problem/ Share on other sites

Toucanet
Ok I solved the problem. Thank you very much. Another question: I have several injector in my s/l/e folder. Without them I got still waiting for root device, but I think that I need only one of them. Is it better to have only the one I need, or can I keep all of them without side effects? If no, How can I discover which is the one I need? Now I have AHCI_3rdParty_SATA AHCI_Extended_Injector AHCIPortInjector GenericUSBXHCI IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector LegacyAppleAHCIPort Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294791-problem/#findComment-1978602 Share on other sites
